We caught up with Miami Herald Sports Editor Alex Mena, who like Manny and Andre started working for the newspaper when he was very young and worked his way up the chain to the leader of the department. Mena, a Hialeah-Miami Lakes and FIU graduate, was born in Nicaragua and share his inspiring story of how he made an important decision to leave his post working at Subway to get into the newspaper business.
