Amid tariff uncertainty and recession fears, over the weekend President Trump told FOX’s Maria Bartiromo that the country will see a “period of transition” as his economic policies take effect to rebuild American enterprise.

After last week’s poor stock market performance, the President not ruling out a recession led to further declines on Monday.
