In this minisode we wanted to quickly address our feelings about the recent unnecessary murder of George Floyd. Simply put: we stand with Black Lives Matter. We understand that as two white girls, ours are not the voices that need to be heard right now; but we also know that one of the worst things we could do is to stay silent. We encourage you to take this time to listen to your friends, colleagues, and neighbors who know what it's like to live in Black America. Ask what you can do to help, and reflect on how you as an individual can change some deeply rooted ideals of white privilege within yourself that are all too common in our society.
