In 1982, John Akomfrah co-founded the Black Audio Film Collective, dedicated to examining issues of Black British identity through film and media. Akomfrah articulates the evolution of his latest film essay, The Stuart Hall Project, about the late cultural theorist, with Kodwo Eshun and Mark Fisher.
