Youth change maker Divya Nori is an internationally-recognized scientific researcher, and founder of Safer With STEM, an organization that works towards gun violence prevention by applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 
Divya is a high school senior and  talks about her mobile app development and the idea behind it in combating gun violence in schools and in the community and making it a safer place to live. 
She's passionate about creating novel solutions to public health problems through scientific research and community leadership, and by leveraging her strengths in biochemistry and neurobiology, she strives to effect change through innovation. She has won awards and has several talks and publications to her credit. Divya's focus is in developing low cost, genome tailored therapeutics and minimize disproportionate rates at which minorities experience adverse effects to medication.
