During the late 1960s into the 70s, the Weather Underground organization was labeled by many as a Domestic terrorist group in the U.S., largely in part to its role in numerous bombings, riots, and jailbreaks. Founded by long time social activist/revolutionary, Bill Ayers, the organization was in strong opposition to the Vietnam war, but was in heavy support of the Black Freedom Movement. However it was the tactics used to get the attention of the U.S. power structure that ultimately led to Bill and other members becoming targets for the FBI. But, today he comes to set the record straight.
