Any man who's tried to break free from the lust cycle knows exactly what we mean when we mention "the streak". It's so easy to measure ourselves against the number of days we've gone without acting out. We start get a false sense of righteousness as we believe the lie that God loves us more when we get a good streak or less when we fall into temptation.
