Across the globe, many countries suffer more than others because of lack of development, and because of this there are many humanitarian opportunities that arise. Mataya Rosander, a college student taking a full course load, managing student government responsibilities and family concerns, shows us that making a difference and helping families can start with a simple idea. You don't have to let small obstacles stop you if you have a desire to help others, and you don't need all the time and money in the world - all it takes is a willingness to act.
