Kate Heartfield is an award-winning author who was given the task of adapting Assassin's Creed into a novel. No small feat!

But she did it. And with a great reception from the fandom as well.

During this episode, we talk about her novel Assassin's Creed: The Magus Conspiracy. And because it's based on a video game, we just had to talk about video games.

This episode is brought to you by Salty Lama, an eco-friendly laundry detergent. Smell good while saving the planet and cutting clutter with their laundry strips. I've been using them for a few weeks now and am loving the scent. Plus it makes me feel good, knowing that we're doing the best we can to reduce the amount of plastic we use. Every little bit helps and you can, too. Click the affiliate link for a special discount code right HERE.

And be sure to check out A Place for Peanut, the official nonprofit organization of Freddy's Huge ASK Podcast. It's an equine rescue that saves horses from certain death at the hands of individuals who transport them to kill pens. My friend Megan and her team work tirelessly to rehabilitate these beautiful creatures. And you can help, either by volunteering or making a donation.
