The 1990s was a tumultuous time for the USSR - they were dealing with the fallout of Chernobyl, attempted coups, and...Ukrainian elevator deaths?With everything going on, it seems suspicious that the Chief Director of the KGB himself would take the time to sweep a series of alleged drug overdoes under the rug.  Just who, or what, was the Soviet Union trying to cover up?
