On September 12th, 1952, the night sky of Braxton County was illuminated by a mysterious object which crash-landed into a field.  At the height of the red scare, a small group of boys approached the crash site where they encountered the infamous Flatwoods Monster.  Was this phantom merely shared hysteria over a barn owl or was this small town infiltrated by an alien from outer space?
