Jesus tells us that if we abide in Him then He will give us life.  He is the VINE--we are the branches. Life is only in Him.  

Wait? I thought this was Good Shepherd Sunday--not Gate Sunday? Jesus refers to Himself as "the Gate" over 8 times in John chapter 10.  Why?
