Like many entrepreneurs, Mikita Mikado had his fair share of past failures before starting PandaDoc, a popular document automation software.
As its CEO, Mikita oversees 700 employees who serve 30,000 businesses worldwide. But the idea for PandaDoc originated after a previous product did not succeed. And to hear Mikita tell it, it failed pretty spectacularly.
“When we set out to build that product, we thought we knew it all,” he says on this episode of Forge Ahead.
Mikita and his business partner were so sure of their idea that they spent all their seed money bringing it to fruition. Only to launch to… crickets.
Ultimately, Mikita acknowledges the product they built was not what the marketplace wanted.
On this episode of Forge Ahead, Mikita looks back on the lessons he’s learned at every stage of his life. From his childhood in Belarus to his time flipping burgers in Hawaii to where he is today.
