In this episode, I talked to Deputy Chief of Mission of Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, China, Dino Kusnadi on the developments of Indonesia-China relationship. I asked him whether he agree that the COVID-19 plague has made our relationship even become stronger or not and the progress of vaccine cooperation between two countries.

Seeing the high infection rate of COVID -19 in Indonesia until now., it seems our government is in the struggle situation to cope with this unprecedented global health crisis. What can we learn from China in handling this pandemic? What makes them able to fight against COVID-19?

The heightened rivalry between the US and China has profoundly affected how Indonesia should engage with China. I asked him to describe our foreign policy towards China under the administration of President Jokowi. Does he agree if I say Beijing has gained more attention to Jakarta than Washington? Is this more favourable direction towards China coming directly from President Jokowi, how is the policy direction made internally?

Lastly, I asked to him the significant hurdles in Jakarta and Beijing's relationship, especially in the Post COVID-19 world. Check this out!
