In this episode, I talked to William Aditya Sarana, a young politician and member of Jakarta Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD DKI) on politics, democracy and corruption. I asked him the motives and intentions to enter politics, the positive contribution of youth participation in politics, and problems on Indonesia’s democracy today. Moreover, I explored his views on how has the COVID-19 pandemic told us on effective leadership and his hopes on the future anti-corruption efforts. He also shared his messages for young people who wished to enter politics.
