In this week's interview episode the gang (minus Terrell) sits down with writers/directors/actors James Bessey and Karsen Schovajsa to discuss their found footage horror feature The Killing Cell, which is storming through the festival circuit and just took home Best Feature at this year's Unnamed Footage Festival! They get into the origin of the concept, why crafting relatable characters is so important in found footage, getting high amounts of asbestos exposure, building a set inside an abandoned prison, shooting on the Frogman camera (and how Frogman's dad lent his producing hand on the project), how this high-chemistry cast came together, avoiding clichés of the found footage format, keeping tension high via emotion, and so much more!
