*Typo—it's actually a 1927 Bobby Jones card, not his rookie which is 1926. Welcome to Episode 27, where we dive deep with special guest Brett McGrath. We look at motivations behind content creation in the sports card realm and delve into the "no recent comps" mindset and its impact on what cards we desire. We'll also share our thoughts on Collectors’ acquisition of SGC and discuss whether PSA is steering towards a grading monopoly. Plus, we'll touch on a recent USPS seizure of my tobacco card. We get updates on the golf tournament, The Players Championship, including the absence of Tiger Woods this week. And don't miss the exciting announcement of Season 2 of Full Swing!Links: https://linktr.ee/fondlingcardboardInstagram:Guest Brett McGrath @stackingslabsHost Mike Lakusta @thegolfcollectorPodcast @fondlingcardboardFacebook Group: Golf Cards and MemorabiliaArtwork: www.reallygreatsite(dot)comMusic: Lo Fi Hip Hop 06 by WinnieTheMoogFree download: filmmusic(dot)io/song/8167-lo-fi-hip-hop-06Licensed under CC BY 4.0: filmmusic(dot)io/standard-license
