On FOCAL POINT:
- Natale Cutri was recognised as part of the King's Birthday Awards with the prestigious Public Service Medal. This was for outstanding leadership and advocacy for people with disability.
- Ruth Weldon, Audio Describer at Access 2 Arts, spoke about her background; work at A2A; and some events coming up - including an award for designing the poster for the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
- Natalie Moss, Campaign Manager 30 Days 30 Ways - from SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM), seeking your input to produce 1 minute videos to support people who are blind; vision impaired; or have any disability, to feel more confident and prepared for emergencies.
- Mark Townend, CEO, from Spinal Life, shared thoughts on the review to the Disability Discrimination Act; and calling for more funding for infrastructure to make tourism more accessible and inclusive.
