Sl: Mateja je hodila skozi črno marmorno dvorano mednarodnega letališča.
En: Mateja walked through the black marble hall of the international airport.
Sl: Potniki okoli nje so hiteli k svojim letalom.
En: Passengers around her hurried to their planes.
Sl: Povsod so bili svetleči napisi in glasna obvestila o pristankih in odhodih.
En: There were shining signs everywhere and loud announcements about arrivals and departures.
Sl: Matejo je čakalo pomembno družinsko srečanje, a njo je mučila misel, da bo zopet zamudila priložnost za popravilo odnosov.
En: Mateja had an important family gathering ahead, but she was troubled by the thought that she would once again miss the opportunity to mend relationships.
Sl: Vedela je, da mora najti darilo.
En: She knew she had to find a gift.

En: Mateja nervously nodded.

Sl: "Gregor je zamišljeno pokimal.
En: Gregor nodded thoughtfully.
