Sl: V poznih poletnih dneh, ko je sonce zlato osvetljevalo Ljubljano, sta se Matej in Nina odločila za raziskovanje starih skrivnosti Ljubljanskega gradu.
En: In the late summer days, when the sun bathed Ljubljana in golden light, Matej and Nina decided to explore the ancient secrets of the Ljubljanski grad.
Sl: Mateja je, kot zgodovinarja, vedno privlačila preteklost.
En: Matej, being a historian, was always fascinated by the past.
Sl: Slišal je zgodbe o skritih tunelih pod gradom, kjer naj bi bil skrit legendarni artefakt.
En: He had heard stories of hidden tunnels beneath the castle, where a legendary artifact was said to be hidden.
Sl: To je bil predmet njegovih sanj in raziskovanj.
En: This was the subject of his dreams and research.
Sl: Nina je bila previdnejša.
En: Nina was more cautious.
Sl: Bila je Matejeva najboljša prijateljica, vedno pripravljena pomagati, a z razumom, ki ji je govoril, naj bo previdna.

Sl: "Ali si prepričan, da želimo to početi?
En: "Are you sure we want to do this?"
Sl: " je vprašala Nina, ko je njen glas odmeval v tunelih.
En: asked Nina, her voice echoing in the tunnels.
Sl: "Seveda, Nina!
En: "Of course, Nina!

En: This is a chance to discover something extraordinary!"

En: replied Matej with a spark in his eyes.
Sl: Njegova svetilka je metala dolge sence na stenah.
En: His flashlight cast long shadows on the walls.
Sl: Kmalu pa so se začele težave.
En: Soon, however, trouble began.
Sl: Matejeva bakla je začela utripati.
En: Matej's torch started flickering.
Sl: "Matej, kaj pa če se izgubiva?
En: "Matej, what if we get lost?"
Sl: " je zaskrbljeno dejala Nina.
En: Nina said worriedly.
Sl: "To ni varno.
En: "This isn't safe."
Sl: "Matej se je ustavil za trenutek.
En: Matej paused for a moment.
Sl: Bil je razcepljen med željo po odkritju artefakta in željo, da zaščiti svojo prijateljico.
En: He was torn between the desire to discover the artifact and the wish to protect his friend.
Sl: "Mogoče imaš prav," je končno rekel.
En: "Maybe you're right," he finally said.
Sl: Ampak prav tisti trenutek je bakla dokončno ugasnila, tuneli pa so potonili v popolno temo.
En: But just then, the torch flickered out completely, plunging the tunnels into complete darkness.
Sl: "Nina, ostani mirna.
En: "Nina, stay calm.
Sl: Imava še nekaj vžigalic," je rekel.
En: We still have some matches," he said.
Sl: S tresočimi rokami je Matej prižgal eno vžigalico, da sta vsaj malo videla okoli sebe.
