En: Once upon a time, in the heart of Warsaw, the Pierogi Festival was in full swing.
Pl: Jego królem był Adam, który od lat bezkonkurencyjnie zjadał więcej pierogów niż ktoś inny.
En: Its king was Adam, who for years had eaten more pierogi than anyone else.
Pl: Ale dzisiejszy festiwal miał być inny.
En: But today's festival was going to be different.
Pl: Adam, wysoki, dobrze zbudowany mężczyzna z uważnym spojrzeniem, pochylił się nad stołem pełnym różnorodnych pierogów.
En: Adam, a tall, well-built man with an attentive gaze, leaned over a table full of diverse pierogi.
Pl: Oprócz niego, na placu Teatralnym, gdzie festiwal miał miejsce, zgromadziło się wielu innych uczestników.
