Zh: 明是一名雄心勃勃的学生,也是毕业演讲的优秀毕业生。
En: Ming is an ambitious student and also the valedictorian of his graduating class.

Zh: 六月的夏天,高中礼堂里挤满了毕业生和他们的家人。
En: In the summer month of June, the high school auditorium was packed with graduates and their families.

Zh: 礼堂里挂满了彩带和横幅,台上摆放着一个讲台。
En: The hall was decorated with ribbons and banners, and a podium was set up on stage.

Zh: 夏天的炎热让每个人都拿着节目单扇风,空调微微运转,试图带来一丝凉爽。
En: The summer heat made everyone fan themselves with their programs, while the air conditioning hummed softly, attempting to bring a bit of coolness.

En: “I don’t know,” Ming sighed.

En: He knew that no matter what he said, someone would be dissatisfied.

Zh: 演讲开始了。
En: The speech began.

En: The auditorium was silent; everyone was waiting for Ming to speak.

Zh: 魏坐在前排,神情紧张;明的家人也在座位上,眼睛盯着他的背影。
En: Wei sat in the front row, looking tense; Ming’s family also sat among the audience, eyes fixed on his back.

Zh: “亲爱的同学们,尊敬的老师和家长们,” 明开始说,声音坚定但带着一丝颤抖。
En: “Dear classmates, respected teachers, and parents,” Ming began, his voice firm but slightly trembling.

Zh: “今天是我们人生中的重要时刻。
En: “Today is an important moment in our lives.

En: We should thank our families and teachers for their support, which has taught us the importance of tradition.”

En: The audience applauded, and some parents smiled with satisfaction.

En: “However,” Ming continued, “we also live in a rapidly changing world.

En: A look of surprise appeared on Wei’s face.

En: He clenched his fists, silently cheering for his friend.

Zh: “我们要尊重过去,但也要勇敢面对未来。
En: “We must respect the past but also bravely face the future.

Zh: 只有这样,我们才能在传统与进步中找到平衡。”
En: Only in this way can we find a balance between tradition and progress.”

Zh: 明的声音越来越有力,带着信心和热情。
En: Ming’s voice grew stronger, filled with confidence and passion.

Zh: 礼堂里爆发出热烈的掌声。
En: The auditorium erupted in enthusiastic applause.

Zh: 无论是保守的家长,还是支持进步的学生,都为明的演讲感到骄傲。
En: Both the conservative parents and the progressive-supporting students felt proud of Ming’s speech.
