He: בתוך מעמקי מדבר הנגב, תחת השמש הקופחת, השתרע אזור רחב ומבודד.
En: In the depths of the Negev Desert, under the scorching sun, lay a vast and isolated area.
He: אדמה יבשה, סדוקה, שקטה כשגשם בקיץ.
En: Dry land, cracked, as quiet as rain in summer.
He: איוושה קלה של חול נושבת הביאה עמה כמה גרגרים על גבי רוח המדבר הנצחית.
En: A faint rustle of sand brought with it a few grains on the eternal desert wind.
He: כאן, התהוותה אגדה בזעיר אנפין.
En: Here, a small-scale legend took shape.
He: במרחב הדממה הזה, חיכה לו בונקר נשכח.
En: In this space of silence, an abandoned bunker waited.

He: השמש כבר החלה לרדת, אך אבנר לא ויתר.
