He: עברו ימים חמים בפתח הקיץ, ואבי עמד על החול בחוף העמוס שבפאתי העיירה.
En: Hot days passed at the start of summer, and Avi stood on the sand of the crowded beach on the outskirts of the town.
He: זה היה פסטיבל החוף השנתי, ואבי היה נחוש להטיס את העפיפון הענק שלו.
En: It was the annual beach festival, and Avi was determined to fly his giant kite.
He: המטרה הייתה להרשים את טליה, החברה הריאליסטית והסרקסטית שלו, ואת קהל המבקרים בחוף.
En: The goal was to impress Talia, his realistic and sarcastic girlfriend, and the crowd of visitors on the beach.
He: "הנה הוא," צחקה טליה כשהיא ראתה את אבי מסתדר עם החבלים הצבעוניים של העפיפון.
En: "There he is," laughed Talia when she saw Avi handling the colorful strings of the kite.

En: "Are you sure this will work without a strong wind?"

En: "I'm sure!"
He: " אמר אבי בהתלהבות.
En: said Avi enthusiastically.
He: "תראי איך העפיפון הזה יטוס לשמים!
En: "Watch how this kite will fly to the skies!"
He: "החוף היה מלא אנשים.
En: The beach was full of people.
He: דוכנים צבעוניים הציעו אוכל, ילדים צחקו ורצו על המים, וחברים ישבו ביחד וסיפרו סיפורים.
En: Colorful stalls offered food, children laughed and ran in the water, and friends sat together telling stories.
He: קול הצחוקים והריח של הבשרים הצלויים יצרו תחושה חגיגית.
En: The sound of laughter and the smell of roasted meats created a festive atmosphere.

En: But the wind everyone expected was very weak.

En: Avi tried all sorts of techniques.

En: He ran on the sand, jumped and moved the strings, but the kite remained on the ground.

En: Talia, with a light laugh, said: "Maybe it's a sign that your kite needs to wear wind glasses."
He: "בדיוק כאשר הם חשבו לוותר, קרה דבר פלא.
En: Just when they thought about giving up, something miraculous happened.
He: רוח עזה פתאום פרצה מהים והעפיפון הענק התרומם מעלה, מתנוסס למעלה בשמים כחול-כחול.
En: A strong wind suddenly burst from the sea, and the giant kite rose up, soaring high in the blue-blue sky.
He: כל הקהל התבונן בהתרגשות והריע.
En: The whole crowd watched with excitement and cheered.
He: העפיפון ריקד ברוח, וצבעיו זהרו כנגד השמים.
En: The kite danced in the wind, and its colors shone against the sky.
He: טליה מחאה כפיים ואמרה: "אני מודה שטעיתי.
En: Talia clapped her hands and said: "I admit I was wrong.

En: That was spectacular, Avi!"
He: "אבי חייך, מרוצה מההצלחה שלו ומההכרה של טליה.
