In today’s eco-conscious society, businesses and consumers alike strongly care about products that are manufactured using sustainable practices. Brands, suppliers, retailers, printers and consumers all want to claim that they are “green” and doing their part to take care of the planet. The challenge is that consumers are frequently skeptical of “sustainable” or “green” claims and have access to hard data and information right at their fingertips to investigate whether a green claim is true or not.
During this podcast, we will discuss what retailers and brands are doing to meet regulatory and consumer sustainability requirements, define what a “sustainable ink” is and talk about Sun Chemical’s SunVisto® AquaGreen water-based inks, a new series of inks formulated with significantly higher levels of bio-renewable resin content compared to other previous market offerings from Sun Chemical.
Speaker: Jeremy Teachman, Field Marketing Manager, Sun Chemical. In his 15-year career with Sun Chemical, Jeremy Teachman has worked across a wide range of markets and technologies and currently works as a field marketing manager for water-based packaging inks. As a part of the North American inks Packaging Product Management team, Jeremy plays a key role in the development of new product launches for water-based packaging inks.
