On hour two of Flames Talk, Pat and Wes open with a deep dive into one of the biggest storylines entering the season: the future of Rasmus Andersson. They examine how strong his play has been through the first quarter, why he’s been their most reliable defenceman, and whether he’s raised his trade value. They also explore what an extension could look like, how the Elias Lindholm situation is a reminder that these decisions take time, and how Andersson’s usage with Kevin Bahl factors into the conversation moving forward.() Kevin Woodley of InGoal Magazine and NHL.com joins the show to talk Flames goaltending following Devin Cooley’s first win with the club. Kevin breaks down Cooley’s game, why there’s a growing push in the market for him to get more starts, and previews the goaltending storylines for Calgary’s weekend matchups against Dallas and Vancouver.
