The Main Dish- In this episode I tell the story of Philip preaching Christ to the city of Samaria, the conversion of a magician of dark arts (Simon the Sorcerer), and the interesting thing that happened afterward. The Bible says, "They had only been baptized," indicating that they had not yet received the gift of the Holy Spirit at that point. This is a very helpful chapter to understand the relationship between baptism, salvation, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
