Mark was on Fish Untamed in 2021 (<a href="https://fishuntamed.com/episode-51/">episode 51</a>) and invited me up to MN to try my hand at darkhouse spearing. I decided to take him up on his offer this past January. In a nutshell, darkhouse spearing involves sitting over a large hole in the ice and throwing spears at passing fish. In reality, though, there’s much more to it, and we dive into it in this episode. This episode was recorded in a brewery after one of our days on the ice at -37 degrees.
