Episode 42. This episode I speak about my personal experience while completing my obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) rotation during my third year of medical school. This was the last rotation of the year before I start 4th year rotations in July! In addition to sharing how many deliveries and cesarean sections I participated in during the rotation, I also discuss common prenatal diagnoses (hyperemesis gravidarum, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes mellitus, gestational hypertension, HELLP syndrome), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), epidural vs. "natural", true contractions vs. false contractions (Braxton Hicks contractions), and kick counts. Thank you for joining me to talk about women's health and childbirth!
