Let's talk about improving longevity at any age! It's never too early or too late to take charge of your life. Specifically, part 1 focuses on preventing cardiovascular disease, including hypertension and heart disease, which is the leading cause of death according to the CDC. Cardiovascular disease is heavily influenced by lifestyle choices including but not limited to diet, exercise, and stress. This is why the choices we make on a daily basis matter so much, but many patients wait until they are symptomatic to seek medical treatment or make changes to their lifestyle. Prevention starts with education, and education starts here (in addition to your family medicine physician's office).
