Long before Hans Christian Andersen put pen to paper to write his seminal work &quot;The Little Mermaid&quot; a little town on the North Wales coast was the scene of its very own mermaid tale.
The Conwy Mermaid is a 900-year-old legend that pre-dates the invasion of Wales by the English King, Edward 1st.
