The Global financial meltdown in the year 2008 was a devastating crash, which forced the United States government to create TARP- which is a cute little nickname for "Troubled Asset Relief Program" , which is a program that bought up bad investments called CDO's also known as Collateralized Debt Obligations, Now In 2020, the United States government is pretty much doing the same thing , this time it's much bigger by the tune of $6 Trillion dollars- $2 Trillion from United States CONgress and $4Trillion from the Federal Reserve & US Treasury. The US government is bailing out the Corporate debt in the United States, which may lead to the bailing out of the US stock Market currently valued at $42 Trillion.
