Today on the show I’m chatting with Amy Zschech-Hood and we talk all about parenting children with additional needs.

We talked a lot about being a mum of a child with special needs, how that affects the whole family and how there is a massive wider community of similar parents all around, who are broken, exhausted and need Jesus...and maybe some practical love and care! She challenges us to be 'do-ers' not just offerers of help. 

Amy talks about Champions Club, a church program that provides reprieve for care giving parents and celebrates the individuals that the world calls different.

I love how Amy encourages all of us to bring everything and anything to Jesus and know that his shoulders are big enough to carry it all.
