Out of all the things that I and the Fearless In Training team get fired up about, the topic of women and money definitely takes the cake. Did you know that women received less than 3% of venture capital last year? The numbers are even more abysmal for women of color. We make up half the population, we are starting companies at an unparalleled base, we’re statistically a great bet from an investment standpoint, and yet we’re still struggling to get funding.

How do we change that?

This was the core question that drove Jennifer Kaiser Neundorfer and her founding partner, Maren Thomas Bannon, to start Jane VC. A powerhouse duo with a background in tech and investments, these women are on a mission to put more money into the hands of female founders. And we’re all for it.
