Joining us today on the Lessons from Legends segment of the Finding Center Podcast is Olin Kreutz. Olin is a guy that was a creative technician and innovator at the center position, was fiercely competitive, and was tough as hell. I have no problem admitting, I stole plenty of techniques from Kreutzy during my time in the league. He was on the smaller side, quick, and really rowdy. He led the Bears offensive line for 13 seasons after they drafted him with the 64th pick in the 3rd round of the 1998 draft out of the University of Washington, where he was a consensus All-American.
He started 187 games in his NFL career that spanned 14 years. He is a 6 x Pro Bowler, 1x First Team All Pro, and a 1 x 2nd Team All Pro.
Now, aside from being the father of 6, he co-hosts the Chicago Bears pre-game on AM670 The Score, and you can catch him on their postgame at NBCSports Chicago.
