UPDATE (4/29/2018): Check with your insurance company to see if you can take the AARP driving course. This is $25 and it seems to be generally accepted. In the video I mentioned that most courses are $95 here in Georgia, which is the case based on everything that I found. Taking a defensive driving course might be able to save you 5-10% on auto insurance. Is it the most fun thing in the world? No, but for a few hours of sitting in a room it might be worth it to save some money.
