As each generation steps in, the space between us seems to be getting larger (unknowingly and knowingly so). Our parents were us and we (perhaps) will be our parents. Yet, for the most part, we are strangers. What role do our parents/guardians play in our process of becoming- of becoming an adult? Is there a role?
