When training camp kicked off on Thursday, Jarran Reed was one of two Seahawks players who spoke to reporters after practice and Reed took the opportunity to speak to the media and address his upcoming six game suspension. Earlier in the week, he was suspended for violating the league's personal conduct policy. In this episode we summarize the details from an article by Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune that details a police report regarding a 2017 incident. Reed said that while he doesn't agree with the NFL's decision, he will respect the decision and tell his teammates to learn from his experience. He says he doesn't think this incident will impact his ability to stay with the team long term. Reed will be allowed to practice with the team and play in the preseason, and will then sit out for the first six regular season games.
