ESMA Chair Steven Maijoor talks with FIA President and CEO Walt Lukken about setting up ESMA, European derivatives regulation, ESA review and EMIR 2.2 among other topics in this wide-ranging interview. Mr. Maijoor is currently the Chair of ESMA since its inception in 2011, and before that he was a managing director the Dutch financial regulatory body, AFM, and the Dean of the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University.
