His high-profile career in the legal profession includes roles as deputy DA prosecutor, the first Public Defender in Clark County and the youngest public defender in the nation, a State Assemblyman, the Nevada Attorney General, Governor of Nevada, a US Senator and a practicing attorney in the private sector. Today, he focuses his law practice on government relations at the federal, state and local levels, particularly in the area of public land use issues.
