The first place of socialization for every human/animal is the family. Sometimes, the lack of motivation to grow personally or staying in an abusive relationship and codependency can be as a result of how you were brought up so it’s important to identify those things that we do and try to unlearn and detach ourselves from the toxic input of our family.
