The past few weeks has been traumatizing to say the least. We’ve heard stories of brutal rape and murder and I’ve come to realize that when bad things happen repeatedly, people tend to normalize it. People tend to look at it as a less serious issues. Sexual assault is serious and it goes beyond rape. A lot of people have participated knowingly or unknowingly in sexual assault and it’s time to unlearn some things that we’ve been conditioned to believe.
