Robert LaBarbara, Vice President for Procurement & Supply Chain Management at Long Island Cares discusses purchasing one-third of most of the food delivered from The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank to our 325 community-based member agencies, and some of the challenges including rising costs that impact our ability to provide more than 13 million pounds of food annually to feed our neighbors in need.
