The two discuss how social injustice came about, why the beauty industry is holding on to Euro-centric ideals of what constitutes ‘beautiful’, and the inherent issues that are still facing the industry today for people of colour. The claim that 'everyone' is beautiful is professed loudly by the beauty industry but those claims need to be validated by making services, treatments and products available for all ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds. Esthetic education has neglected or forgotten segments of our society. Fearless Beauties will highlight skincare professionals of color and learn their stories of success to elevate the industry to become more inclusive.
