My guest, Carissa Weber is a licensed therapist in Wisconsin and writing about brain science and mental health. And specifically about "that darn amygdala." Carissa's podcast is as informative and interesting as her website, and I'm pleased she agreed to chat with me about her work.

We also talk about the frustrations of mental health work and lack of support for therapists, briefly touch on the politics of that lack of support, how states are behind in assisting clinicians, and where is the party capital in  upper Midwest region?
