Retired agent Shayne Buchwald-Nickoles reviews a violent crime case developed through a confidential source. The task force investigation involved stolen firearms, a conspiracy to commit home invasions and jewelry store robberies, a fake police stop, and the kidnapping of the owner of a jewelry store. The successful investigation and prosecution resulted in the guilty plea and conviction of seven co-conspirators. The investigative team was recognized with the Rod Rosenstein Award for Outstanding Collaborative Efforts among federal, state, and local law enforcement. Shayne served in the FBI for 20 years.
