Jesus says “I Am the Light of the World

Pharisees say because it is only Jesus saying it, it is not true

Jesus’ response is even if He testifies about Himself, it is still true

– 18 But there are two witnesses, the Father and Him

They ask “where is your father – Jesus responds they don’t know Him or the Father

Jesus’ teaching and this confrontation happened in the treasury in the temple

– 27 Jesus says He is not of their world, but if they don’t believe in Him, they will die in their sins

& 29 Jesus says when they lift Him up (crucify Him) they will know that “ I Am He”

After speaking these things many believed in Him
