– 19 Elijah meets with King Ahad & has him summon all Israel to meet at Mount Carmel with 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah

– 24 Elijah challenges the prohets of their gods and His God. They accept the challenge

– 29 They repeatedly call on their gods but no one answers and Elijah mocks them
