When I first heard Jim McBride AKA Mr. Skin on The Howard Stern Show back in the 1990s. I thought his premise for a website was absolutely ridiculous, I mean an entire site just dedicated to nude scenes in film? Who's got the time just to fast forward that far ahead and break it down to the exact minute? Well, the joke was on me as two decades later, McBride continues to go strong in his endeavors and is one the executive producers of, Skin: A History of Nudity in Movies. Quite frankly, you have a movie like this without Mr. Skin, now could you?

Skin traces Hollywood’s use of nudity from the silent era, through the production code and the formation of the MPAA, ending with a discussion of movie nudity in the #MeToo era. McBride speaks candidly about his career path, the difference in mentality between sex and violence on camera, how to protect our youth and the actors involved in the entertainment industry and a whole lot more.
