Hanna also has a chat with In the Heights star Corey Hawkins (08:16), who discussed his singing in the musical and teased his role in Joel Coen’s upcoming drama The Tragedy of Macbeth.Plus, this week’s ‘Hot Take’ (58:52) is a discussion of colourism in In the Heights, which has been criticised for its lack of dark-skinned, Afro-Latino actors amongst its leading roles. The issue was first brought up by The Root's Felice León, who also brought up those criticisms in conversation with the film's director, Jon M Chu, and other cast members.
